The app reads the type from the saved task. Reopening the list, signing in again, or restarting no longer changes search, browse, or custom work.
The protective pause is stored separately
A temporary stop is stored separately from the task. It no longer pushes the task into an incorrect permanent state.

The main page, embedded content, and background work use the same mobile or regular-screen profile configuration.
